Development of the farm – primary house, cottage, orchard, paddocks and associated infrastructure on Portion 64 of Farm Eastbrook 183, Sedgefield
HilLand Environmental, independent Environmental Assessment Practitioners (EAP) have been appointed by the Applicant, Sedgefield Garage represented by Mr I Sparks, to ensure compliance with the regulations contained in the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA, No 107 of 1998) and the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2014 (as amended) for the proposed activities on Portion 64 of Farm Eastbrook 183, Sedgefield.
The proposal entails the development of the northern portion of the farm – construction of primary home, cottage and associated infrastructure and services and the creation of an ochard and paddocks within the northern portion of the property. The southern portion will form part of a rehabilitation area.
In order to ensure that you are registered as an Interested and Affected Party (I&AP), please send your details, motivation for participation and inputs in written format via email to HilLand Environmental. Only registered I&APs will receive further notifications on the process.
The Draft Basic Assessment Report (BAR) and associated appendices will be available for review and comment for a 30-day commenting period (12 June – 14 July 2025). All reports will be available on our website at www.hilland.co.za/public processes.
