OSCAE Erf 126, Wilderness

HilLand Environmental has been appointed as the Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) by the applicant, Mr and Mrs S and C Nienaber, to obtain the required permit for the disturbance of vegetation and earthworks in accordance with the Outeniqua Sensitive Coastal Area Extension (OSCAE) Regulations, for the proposed development of a single dwelling and agricultural practices, in accordance with Agricultural I Zoning, on Erf 126, Wilderness.

The proposed development will entail the construction of a single dwelling and associated sewage infrastructure, an implementation- and processing shed, the installation of water storage tanks and creation of an agricultural / cultivation field on the property. The total footprint of the above-mentioned development (including the cultivation field) is approximately 4 000 square metres.

The commenting period on the OSCAE application closes within 30 days from its availability (14 May 2019 – 12 June 2019). Please provide us with your comments / concerns relating to the proposed development during the time frame, in written format via post, email or fax.
