OSCAE application for Erf 1103, Hoekwil

HilLand Environmental, independent Environmental Assessment Practitioners (EAP), have been appointed by the applicant, Roan Stoop, to ensure compliance in terms of Section 21 of the Environmental Conservation Act for the disturbance, removal, or pruning of vegetation and earthworks required for the proposed development of a single dwelling, associated infrastructure and the creation of gardening areas on Erf 1103, Hoekwil, Wilderness.

A single dwelling of approximately 405 square metres and septic tank and French drain of approximately 5 square metres is proposed for Erf 1103. Additionally, future planning includes fencing of the proposed dwelling area, paving of driveways, the creation of a gardening area in-front of the dwelling and permaculture gardening in-between existing fruit trees.

Please find attached to this email an electronic copy of the OSCAE application. The application will undergo a public participation process with a 30-day commenting period commencing on the 29th of July 2019 (29 July 2019 – 28 August 2019). Please provide us with your comments / concerns relating to the proposed development during the time frame, in written format via post, email or fax to HilLand Environmental.
