Part 2 Amendment Application: Arbour Nature Estate

HilLand Environmental have been appointed as the Environmental Assessment Practitioners (EAP) by the applicant, Signature Homes (Pty) Ltd, to ensure compliance with regulations contained in the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA Act No. 107 of 1998) and the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations (2014), as amended, for the amendment of the Environmental Authorisation (EA) that is in place for the residential development of Arbour Nature Estate on Erf 19001, George.

  • A substantive amendment application will be undertaken in order to amend the approved Site Development Plan (SDP) in terms of the NEMA Environmental Authorisation (EA) and addendum #1 to the EA (references: 16.3.3.1.D2.26.0023.22 and 16.3.3.5.D2.26.0012.23). The amendment is to reduce the number of apartments and minor layout changes within the development footprint.
  • A non-substantive amendment application will be undertaken to amend the Holder of the EAs’ details.

 

The Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the amendment and associated appendices will be available for a 30-day commenting period commencing on the 4th July 2024. Please provide us with your comments / concerns relating to the proposal during the timeframe (4 July – 5 August 2024) in written format via email (admin@hilland.co.za).
