HilLand Environmental, independent Environmental Assessment Practitioners (EAP), have been appointed by the applicant Department of Transport and Public Works – Western Cape Government to ensure compliance with the regulations contained in the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA Act No. 107 of 1998), National Environmental Management: Waste Act, 2008 (Act No. 59 of 2008) and the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations (2014), as amended, for the proposed closure of a unlawful waste dump site situated adjacent to the Concordia school, Erf 19624 & Erf RE//17631, Concordia, Knysna.
